"Oh, I've seen the thicket! I went by it on my way here!" She exclaims excitedly, her tail wagging quickly behind her. Her smile widens, gaze looking to Atticus for a brief moment before turning her attention back to their surroundings. While the rapids were a pretty confusing area (the trees did quite look all alike), she began to notice differences as she looked closer.

"If I mark the trees with my claws, it'll help, yeah?" Mags asked as she approached a tree and let her claws gouge their soft bark. Stepping back to admire her work, she nods to confirm her own thoughts. "Okay, so the thicket is north of here, right? We should try that way first!" The yearling waits for Atticus to confirm before bounding ahead, sniffing at a few trees and leaving her claw marks in them along the way.
