The Unraveling - It Creeps

With the rabbit placed before the walking plant, Star had backed away. It seemed as though that would be the end of it, but then all hell broke loose. Wolves came out of the woodwork, most of them attacking the creature. Star winced, lip curling back in distaste. Why was it always "bite first and ask questions after?" The slender woman stayed where she was, blue eyes locked on the scene that unfolded before her.

Wolves went flying as the massive creature showed them who was boss. Star paid no mind to any of them. Instead, she moved off to the side, using some of the jungle for cover. Blue eyes could still see everything that was going on, but she would mostly be out of harms way. Hadn't the idiots realized that the beast wasn't dangerous until they made it that way? Their hubris would be their downfall.
