Rogue's claws sifted through the fur at the back of her neck and she brought her own claws up to gingerly trail along his ribcage, letting him know that she could hurt him too, should she choose. Kai's kitten paws weren't just for looks. They were sharp too.

As Rogue pushed and pulled at her, Kai's jaws opened again. She aimed for his face this time, seeking to grab the brutes sensitive lips between her teeth. She didn't want to hurt him, but she did want to subdue him. Besides, who expected to have their lips bitten in a fight? Already Kaino's ire was waning.
