As she offers the painkillers to the woman with the dislocated shoulder, Seere watches her shy away and a bigger male appears to take a protective stance over her. With a subtle shake of her head, the small healer turns away, moving to where a huge, monochrome man is approaching and asking for her assistance. Ushering him to sit and then lay down, she smiles softly at the man while offering him the pain killing herb bundle that the other wolf had turned down and saying, “I will tend to your leg but this is going to hurt. Take these, they will help with the pain.”

Passing off the herbs to the man, for him to take or to put to the side, Seere than sets about rummaging through her bag to get the necessary supplies she will need while also allowing the herbs some time to kick in and dull the pain before she begins manipulating the broken ankle. Pulling out four wooden slates, she places them near his injured leg and explains, “I will brace your broken foot so that the bones won’t move but you can continue to use it.”

Next to the wooden slats, which are made of two different types of wood, she places three long strips of cloth, which she will use to bind the splint together. Settling herself before the dire brute, she gently says, “My name is Seere. Now, I am going to press on your ankle and see where the fractures are. If there are any bones out of place, I need to realign them before placing you in a splint otherwise, they will not heal properly. The herbs will help but I need you to know, this is going to hurt.”

Mismatched gaze looks at him, silently offering her apologies with a wiggle of her lips and then Seere is lifting the injured the appendage gently as she begins to quickly, yet gently palpate the bones in his back-right ankle, Nimble toes work, manipulating the shattered pieces back into the correct positions as her muscles become while taunt as she works and the small woman is keenly aware of the man’s discomfort and offers him soft nonsensical words to try and ease his pain.

Once the bones are back in place, she picks up the first of the harder slats and places it on the outside of the ankle. On the opposite side, she lines up the other hard slat and directs him to place a paw on it to keep in place for a moment while she gathers one of the long pieces of cloth and loosely ties it around the two supports in the middle of the pair. Next, she takes the other two pieces of wood, both more flexible than the first two slats and slides them under the tied cloth in front of and behind of the broken ankle.

Tying the other two pieces of cloth loosely around the split, she then moves to the first strip that she had placed in the middle of the splint and says, “Brace yourself, I am going to tighten these now.” Giving him a couple minutes, she then unties the cloth before pulling the knot tight against the splints, making certain that the splint won’t be going anywhere soon. She follows up by tightening up the other two pieces and then sits back on her haunches, huffing a breath and saying, “There. It is flexible enough to allow your ankle to work will also giving it enough support to keep the bones in place. Oh, one more thing.”

Turning to her bag, she riffles through it for a moment before pulling out a leather pouch and opens it for the man to see. Inside is a makeshift syringe, with a small, hallow bone of a bird as the needle and a small glass vail nestled in next to it. Looking to male, she says, “This a special medication of my own making. It will give you a burst of adrenaline and make the pain go away for bit. It should be enough to carry you through this fight however, once the effects wear off, you will be exhausted and need to sleep. Would you like a dose?” Seere asks him softly, trying to help him take part in the fight and hopefully, keep him from dying here.

Depending on his answer, she either preps a dosage and administers it to the stranger or closes the leather case and returns it to her bag. Either way, Seere then clears him to go and fight the worm before calling out again, “If you need aid, come to me! I will help you!” Her voice carries, inviting those that have been injured by the strange beetle to come and get tended to so that they may continue to fight and survive this battle.
