Depollute me, pretty baby
Redrum

Lea's breath paused in her throat briefly as Redrum grew closer, not out of fear, but more because she did not wish to scare him away. Her eyes trained on his, still soft, unafraid as he spoke. Her breath came out soft afterward, a hint of a smile curling at her lips. "Everyone needs it, but some just need it less. I can say I don't believe you need it as much as others maybe. But then again, that is for you to decide." She moved closer, closing some of the distance between them. Tilting her head to gaze up at him playfully, "Do you think you need it Pretty boy?" Her voice is light, but a part of her is curious nonetheless. She wonders what could possibly scare the red man in front of her. She watches as he searches her gaze, she doesn't mind it. Maybe others would be uneasy around him, but she found herself growing rather comfortable in his presence. "I fear whatever is necessary, when I need to fear I can. I promise I am still capable of it, I fear plenty." She responds to his question, others may have grown defensive, offended by his tone but it did not bother her. "Fear can be a driving force, can overtake you. Drown you. But it can make you feel alive as well, the line between the two is thin. But sometimes, people fear that which they do not understand, fear is something that is not always needed. I prefer to only fear that which I know, I would rather understand the unknown before I fear it. That is not to say I am without fear, if something clearly means to harm me or harm those I care for, of course, I fear for myself and I fear for them." She ends her little rant gently, looking at the man so close to her. Perhaps the closeness could be viewed as something more intimate than it was by outsiders, but to her right now, it felt more like a game. She watched as Red reacted to her touch, and for a moment she wondered if he was just unused to it or disliked it. She was not sure, but a part of her wanted to do it again, less suddenly to see if that would change his reaction. His voice had her ears drawing forward and her eyes moving from where his slight snarl had been to his eyes, the easy confidence never leaving her as he searched her for the answer he seemed to seek. "I cannot say I'll win but I know I am strong enough to provide you with a good fight, a fight as equals. Even if the outcome may be in your favor." she says with gentle confidence, losing or winning did not matter as long as in the thick of it she could take it. And she knew she could. Her eyes followed him as he stood, towering over her. And others once again, may have felt an inkling of fear by this. But all she could do was smile, confidence and excitement glittering in her eyes, "Whenever you'd like, search me out, find me, I'll spar with you whenever you would like it. On one term, afterward, you spend the rest of the day with me, doing whatever I would like to. Whether or not I win." She would definitely be the one reaping the benefits of this deal, but she hoped he knew she would never make him do something he did not want. Their friendship was new, but she was easy to understand, she wouldn't push him. If he did not want to be pushed that is. He speaks again as she meets his gaze unwavering, "I cannot give you a definitive answer, it changes, but I can say I don't give up." Her voice is steady, as she looks at him. "I'm curious to see what you do when someone has their teeth in your flesh." Perhaps the words she said could be threatening, but the tone in her voice was playful, perhaps even just slightly flirty. Not purposely but sometimes it happened even when she did not mean to. "I promise I can take it, take you" she speaks gently, eyes blazing now with excitement and playfulness. "Nothing to lose, I believe we will have fun together. Pushing each other, tasting one another." Her words were followed by a quick lick to her lips, still playful the flirty edge fading. But as he looked at her, her smile grew, noticing the subtle look in his eye that had her chest growing tight and a need to make him see her as an equal opponent growing. She stands, moving to meet him as face-to-face as she can. "Next time you feel that itch, that feeling that can be overtaking when you need to fight, come find me alright? I am your friend after all, I can only offer my services in battle to you as well." Her voice was playful as she looked at him, her smile softening. She really was excited, excited to see where their friendship took them, and excited to learn more about the pretty boy in front of her. |
