Coran buried the ice deep in the worms flesh, the strange fluid that had to be its blood came glopping out from the wound. He could hear the cracking of ice above them and suddenly a huge shard of ice fell through the worm. A strange cry erupted from it as it fell to the ground twitching.
Coran released the ice he'd held a hold of, stumbling back panting. Had they done it? Was it dead now? Relief washed over him as his limbs shook. Whipping his head to the side he threw up, sitting down heavily. The smell of blood and the strange fluid of the worm made his stomach twist. He tried to avoid looking at what remained of the one's that had fallen, part of him still hoping he'd awaken from a dream.
