The little wink, the ease of her movement, the promise of what they'd get up to later-- he shoots the girl a sly grin. The moment is brief, before an opponent breaks onto the battlefield for him. The berserker comes to life, drawing to his full height.

Was that... one of the kids? They'd gotten so big, though he'd wipe the surprise off his face after only a heartbeat. Quelling some of the violence in his system, metering his response, though his own companion makes to fend off the oncoming cat. Cat on cat violence... eh, they'd sort it out. It leaves Erik the space to charge the yearling right back, returning fire. Charging, though he leads with his teeth. Seiko would get the jump, but Erik makes to land a bite somewhere sensitive in return.
