Can you feel the dread

He was just itching for a fight, something fun to hone his skills. Although he'd been having a great time here for reasons he wasn't ready to explain, he felt like he was slacking in his training. The battlefield was close enough to insomnia that it only took him part of the morning to travel there, leaving him plenty of time to find an opponent. He didn't know how often others traveled around, so he was expecting to wait a while for someone to show.

When he arrived, as expected, no one was around. He had hoped to catch a fight mid-brawl, but not this morning. Perhaps he could find a challenger though, then someone else could appear and watch them? That sounded like a fun time.
