Coran fidgeted as he spoke, running one paw over the back of the other and then repeating the motion with opposite paws. He appreciated his brother's honesty. No one had an answer, there probably wasn't an answer anywhere in this world. It was disconcerting and left Coran with the question of what next? How did he get those visions out of his head? How did he stop the feeling that the world was going to collapse under his paws at any second.
Coran paused, his right front paw over his left front paw. He removed the top paw and stared at the lump that had just shown up there. He exhaled shakily. "Ardyn… I think there may be something wrong with me. I think… I think I've caught something. Oh, Ardyn, what if…". He licked his lips and struggled to swallow the fear rising within his chest. "I saw another wolf, a number of us found him. Very sickly. He was full of worms, Ardyn, bursting with them. I think… I think I may need a healer."
