 Sand, sand, and more sand stretched on as far as the eye could see. Besides the thick jungle up ahead, of course. Cygnus made a mental note to maybe head away from these westerly lands for awhile after this trip. He certainly wasn't going to make a swim like this anytime soon. Getting this soaked wasn't his favorite- he tried not to remember how he'd have to repeat it all to get back to the mainlands. Shivering a little despite the sun's warm rays coming from above, he focused on the present, on his company and the island they'd found themselves on. "Davey. Nice strong name," he commented. He wondered if this kid's family knew he was out wandering like this, or if they even cared. He didn't know much about how wolves raised their young, let alone wolves from these parts. "Hopin' to find anything out here? Or just enjoying the sights?" He was more focused on what those sights might conceal. His eyes roved the ground, searching for signs of anything interesting... a few stray shells and driftwood could be seek peeking up from the pale sands, but nothing worth stopping for. Maybe up ahead, where the foliage was thicker. Sparse palm trees gave way to a thicker grove of them, and he pushed his way through a thick cluster of ferns. A swarm of bugs nearby, disturbed by his movements, suddenly buzzed by his head and flew off deeper inland. |
