Billy Goats Gruff [Inferna]

The scent of blood was subtle, a hint on the wind that lured Marrow along the mountain path. There was a wounded mountain goat somewhere up the mountain side… if she could just locate it. Her pale eyes searched the mountainside, ears twitch at the sound of horns clashing. The autumn rut was sending a number of prey animals into a frenzy. It made her salivate just thinking of all the prey she could potentially kill. Though a lone wolf she had a few advantages that made solo hunting possible, though partners were obviously preferable.

Marrow flexed her toes, cat claws flicking in and out as she caught site of a small herd of mountain goats several dozen feet up the mountain. She spied an injured male, noting the blood that stained his white fur. Excellent. She licked her lips as she debated the best approach.
