What's a God to a nonbeliever

Alaric's orange eyes narrowed dangerously. He was about the speak, to say something back, but swallowed his words. No, patience. He wanted to see the outcome first. He wanted Ultyr defeated and in his mercy before he delivered some harsh truths. His stance widened slightly for better balance, his chin tucked to protect his vitals, and his tail rose equal along his spine for better balance. Once all defenses were set, he prepared himself for the attack that followed shortly after. Ultyr rushed him, the brown wolf's maws were aiming for his shoulder while a paw was coming for his face. Alaric swerved his head out of the paw's reach, avoiding his cheek from being slammed into. However, his shoulder was still being targeted. A smirk formed on the Warmaw's black lips. He would let Ultyr have his shoulder, but not without repercussion. Alaric moved his body forward, attempting to slam his shoulder directly into the nose and front jaws of Ultyr harshly before the section was bit into. Pain filled his shoulder as fangs burrowed deep into his flesh. His black maws parted and aimed to wrap them around the side of the neck of the "God". He was trying to leave a long, deep, scar across the side of the neck. Something to remember him by. Something to make Ultyr see his mortality.
