As he draws in the dirt, Davey looks up for just a moment to squint at Atoll. "Dork." But the teasing is almost fond, at this point. He's been doing so much exploring only on his own, so maybe this is tolerable. At least it's hard to pretend it isn't.

"Here, this constellation is the great bear, see? That one is probably the easiest to find, so we start with that." Davey draws the little dots in the soft earth, mirroring the ones in the sky above, before gesturing to the ones in the sky. "And next to it, the lesser bear. The freakishly bright star is in the lesser bear." His drawings are a bit shaky, but the north star does manage to be the biggest in the strange art. "That's the one that always points north." Looking to Atoll, making sure the boy is paying attention. He'll launch into east and west in a moment, as long as he's not being questioned.
