He immediately noticed Gany shifting to get up and heed the call and Ultyr was too sleepy-headed to grab him before he was already out of reach. The hobbling boy was a little too quick for the brute to realize what was happening. It took a moment when he realized the other hunters were heeding the call so he groaned and shifted roughly up with an aggressive stretch up his neck. He signaled Lailah to stay with the children before following Gany, blinking his eyes awake while smacking his lips.

It was the lowing of cattle that had him perking up and picking up the pace. Had a wild herd wandered close to the band? Excellent! He'll be damned if Gany overexerts himself though. He plopped his butt next to the stormshine boy, his eyes peering through the trees trying to catch sight of a good mark.
