What's a God to a nonbeliever

Searing pain like nothing he had ever known blossomed across his throat as he sputtered and choked against Alaric's ruthless onslaught. His eyesight danced with stars as his breath rattled against the tear. He pushed and flailed against the General as he felt the weight of the white male shift, pull then toss the prince to the ground. Ultyr barely had time to catch himself. His limbs trembled from the pain as he attempted to rise. Coughing and spluttering. He pinned his ears as the General loomed over him.

A growl gurgled in the back of his throat at the words but he sputtered instead. He tried to clack his teeth at Alaric but he had to turn away to cough. His breathing was ragged and harsh against his throat. Ultyr wheezed as he finally rose, his head low, his eyes cast away like a thoroughly trounced soldier put in his place.

Ultyr slunk away, he had no words to say to the man. He needed to find one of the healers, preferably Gany, to treat his wound.
