Fighting Mad

Xairo's jaws snapped shut on empty air as the nimble pup evaded his grasp. Frustration surged through him, fueling his aggression. He felt a sharp pain in his heel, followed by the sensation of tiny claws scrabbling up his flank. Before he could react, a piercing bite sank into his hip.

The pain was minimal, more of an annoyance than anything else, but it stoked the fires of his rage. How dare this insignificant little girl make a fool of him? He would not stand for such insolence. With a roar of anger, Xairo twisted his body, attempting to dislodge the clinging pup. He bucked and spun, his larger frame working against him as he tried to reach the agile attacker. His green eyes blazed with fury, his pride wounded more than his flesh.

"Get off me, you little bitch!" he snarled, snapping his jaws in frustration. He could feel his control slipping, his strategic mind clouded by the need to assert his dominance over this unexpectedly troublesome opponent. Xairo's muscles tensed as he prepared to throw himself to the ground, intending to crush the small pup beneath his weight. His mind raced, calculating the best angle to pin her without giving her another opening.
