With a final, deft movement, Erik slams his shoulder into the goat. The beast goes tumbling into the pit, crashing to the spikes below. It's a violent death, but a quick one. Respect the beast enough to ensure its suffering is brief, and they'd have a decent meal to split. It only takes a few moments and a decent effort to get the beast out of the pit, fresh blood staining the sparse snow.
"And my father treated me like one from the day we met, despite never trying to raise me himself. I won't tell you an individual needs forgiveness, but don't write off your entire bloodline on the sins of one asshole." Erik wipes the blood from his maw with a paw, no judgement on his face for the youth. "If you're hellbent on staying on your own, at least go south for the winter. Don't be so stubborn you freeze to death with a whole life ahead of you." With that, he begins to rip into the carcass. "Eat, boy." Simple words, but then, he's a simple man.
