Despite Citadel losing his cool, Erik guided the goat into the pit and finally, finally managed to brain some common sense into Citadel’s head with the blunt force of his words. He looked at his teacher, and tried to imagine anyone treating him as less. Somehow, he couldn’t imagine it. But if Erik said it was so, it must be. Yet he had persevered, and didn’t seem to hate his family for it.

He ripped into the goat, starving as he was, it was a few mouthfuls before he spoke again. “I suppose The Hallows makes sense. I’ll think about it.” He promised, and he knew that he would. Maybe it wouldn’t be as difficult and embarrassing as a part of him seemed to imagine.
