Spriggan quickly packed away her little sea lettuces, though she missed the look of disgust that flittered over his features as she handled the slightly slimy plants. Sprig was hardly squeamish when it came to plants or their textures, but surely there was something out there that would bother her that did not do the same to Ballad.
Her brother admitted that he had not actually tried to hunt crab before, and that he thought them kind of cute. The girl didn’t feel like teasing him about that, she also thought some of the fauna they regularly consumed were cute too. Much like her unicorn companion, which she wouldn’t have hesitated eating any other donkey. Her attention was taken from him for a moment but returned as he asked about the beach, suggesting that they returned here at night.
"Oh, we should! I’ve been wanting to see the glowing water up close.” From the correct angle of the castle you could see the mysterious waters, but she hadn’t made it down here after dark yet.
