Xairo's eyes widened in surprise at the sudden ferocity of the attack. He had underestimated this pup's aggression. At the last moment, he twisted his body, narrowly avoiding the full force of Hades' charge. Still, the impact sent him stumbling sideways. Recovering quickly, Xairo snarled as he felt Hades' teeth graze his throat. The older wolf's instincts kicked in, and he lashed out with his own jaws, aiming for Hades' side, hoping to find purchase with his elongated fangs into the kid’s hide. All the while, trying to use his larger size to his advantage, Xairo attempted to throw his weight against Hades, in an effort to knock the younger wolf off balance.
