Xairo seethed as the stranger's words pierced through his fury. The older wolf's calm demeanor only served to fuel the raging wildfire within him. He forced himself to take a breath, to think past the red haze of anger that clouded his mind. This man wanted him to prove he could rise above his doubts? Fine.
