Grazing her muzzle, Hattori gritted his teeth as he felt her claws dig in. By no means was either wolf intended to hurt one another, but tooth and claw stung either way even if the end result was only very minor, superficial scratches that would heal in no time at all.

Teeth grabbed onto the scruff of his neck, securing Ember's attempt at clinging on and making it that much more difficult for Hattori to unseat her. It was an unusual tactic, but not one he was entirely unfamiliar with- or at least he had an inkling on how to remove the stowaway from his back. Shifting his weight and moving to kick the fox away in the process, he sought to slam himself- and thus Ember too in the process- back into the ground. Think self-inflicted wolf suplex.
