Yes, everyone had something to lose, but she was the one in power. He was the underling that was being given a position on a silver platter. That was her beef with the situation. They weren't on equal footing. Not yet. Nero still had much to prove to the Sovereign before she thought of then as equals.

Nero stood, inviting the small fae to take something from him if she could and Scylla's vision shook. In an instant, she was closing the distance between them. Woobie came in from behind, the bush dog aiming to sink his teeth into the glacial brute's heel as more of a distraction than anything. Scylla, meanwhile, launched herself upwards, using her dexterous digits to cling to the mouthy man's coat as she sought to scale his big form, making her way up towards his head. Once there, she would strike out with her maw, intending to sink her teeth into one grey ear. Hopefully she'd leave him a little reminder of herself.
