The lithe woman moved silently through the wood, her tawny fur illuminating a gentle glow in the light. Her golden eyes peered from beneath her lashes, searching the ground before her between each blink. The brisk air of dawn filtered in through the tall pines, her breath billowing on the air, as she moved at a brisk pace hoping to get to the herb garden before the mass of the pack trampled through it. The few herbs that she could pick this time of year were hardy, but she always preferred to do her sorting without an audience. It was her time to think, which is something that she seemed to do a lot of lately. So much had happened in the expanse of time since she had joined Glaciem. From the various challenges to the siege, Seraphim, giving birth, and her return. She really hadn't had time to dwell on her own thoughts. Thus she had been escaping in the wee hours of the morning, in search of solace, time to think.

She would nose her way through the herbs, her muzzle delicately brushing the frost bitten stems aside, as she searched for the ones that she would need to replenish her stores. One of the main delicacies that she would clips stems of would be useful for the pregnant females that seemed to constantly inhabit Glaciem. Pups were never scarce here, that was for sure. She also would stock up on herbs to prepare for the coming labors that would surely catch her off guard. She knew her packs Queen was close to her due date, but wasn't sure if she'd be summoned to assist. She'd been on such tedious terms with Isardis lately. A sigh escaped her, at the thought, her breath billowing in the dimly lit sky, and floating off to join the air. Life these days was complicated.
