Deception and Betrayal [Neo/Kaien]

The morning sunlight filtered through the entrance of her den, the sound of trickling water reached her ears and she watched the slowly waterfall crashing back into the stream, its power blocking the entrance to her den, Neo had adored the fact that his new home was behind a waterfall, however small that waterfall may have been. Something warm and soft was pressed against her chest and belly and she blinked back her sleep to focus on it. Neo. The small pup she had deemed her own, stripping him of the Adravendi name. He had taken to her like a duck to water. He adored her and she knew it, but today, he needed to be strong. Kaien needed to meet with him, Kaien needed to speak with him.

Gently she nuzzled him, licking the top of his crown in a gentle caress. "Neo... Neo..." She cooed to him softly, words gently begging his dreams to release him. To return him to her. "Awaken sweetheart, today you will meet Kaien, our Alpha." Luce purred to him, willing him to awaken, at some point, her tail had coiled around his body and now it tightened around him, drawing him from his sleep with gentle touches. Luce could never be his mother, but she would be anything the boy required of her, she would make sure of it.
