Phoebe raised a surprised brow at him when he hushed her, not expecting such a harsh reaction to her appearance. She wanted to scold him for acting rudely to his elders, but he looked back and apologized before she had the chance. She let it go this time since she was certain Natalya had taught him better and he did remember to apologize. She watched him while he settled down and finally explained himself, putting a mildly confused look on her face. Wait for who to come out? He followed his gaze back to the hole he was looking at intently and she realized what he was doing with a smirk.
"You're never going to get them out of there like this," she whispered quietly. She nodded toward a tall, thick patch of grass a few feet away. It was a further distance from the rabbit hole than he currently was. "Come on." She pulled herself up and quietly walked over to the brush she had pointed out and crouched down behind it. She motioned with her paw toward it and told him softly, "Hide in this. Your fur is dark and stands out against the grass so they'll see you more easily. Plus the grass will help hide your scent a little bit." Her words were hushed to keep from scaring the rabbits any more than they already were. "Now just wait quietly like you were and watch. And if you want to try to catch one you've got to move reeeally fast."
