It was a strange feeling of puzzled confusion that presented it itself; ruby gaze watching with scrutinizing wonder as Eris seemed to join the crowd. At first Isardis believed she too were here for Artemis, however her gaze did not meet either of the Glaciem?s but instead seemed fixated upon the fight that would so rapidly unfold. She seemed void, mysteriously so as the duo would rage and brawl; the satisfying crushing of bones and the oozing of blood enough to suggest who truly was the winner. Morphine stood supreme, Isardis lowered against his quarters with bemusement as his mind played a silent applause for the pale vixen?s win; wasn?t it so brilliant to watch the clockqork within a killers mind? The way they relaxed only when their opponent lay lifeless.

Distraught wolves would crowd, inching towards the pale man in an effort to weep brittle goodbyes; what was odd, was the fact that Eris was one of them. But it would not plague him, for as quickly as Morphine had stated her brilliance, another was quick to shatter her hopes of living. And oh, just as easily as she had done, Morphine was now sprawled also beneath the feet of a boy. Lifeless, dead. The events that unfolded were shocking, however fantastically so; though as Artemis would usher forth with emotional desperation, Isardis would be quick to step forth also. Lips bared in a snarl as hackles would raise, he would begin to guard the body of the deceased woman and the girl that clutched helplessly to her death. His place here was unknown, doubtable, but he would protect his Overseer with the last inch of his being. Saliva dripped from pale jowls as he patrolled the outline of her murder scene, ears pinned to his scalp as he also allowed Artemis her distance. ?Your word,? was all he muttered, ruby gaze pinned to the boy who had murdered Morphine. His body was at Artemis? expense.
