The man would be carried again to the rock garden. he was out looking for food, since the spring had come. Food hadn't been so scarce. He spotted a small mammal lurking behind a particularly large boulder. Magnus crept up behind it silently, his stomach close to the ground. Jaws would open, quick as lightning jaws clasped around it's midsection, he crushed it;s spine with his jaws and it went limp as soon as the sickening crunch reached his ears. It wasn't enough to take back as a meal for himself and Aurora. She'd been eating more than normal. It was strange. But he just let her be. But the mammal would certainly be enough to sustain him for a while.
when he was done eating, he licked his lips, cleaning the blood off. He would stand up again, blue orbs surveying the area. He walked over to a boulder that was low enough for him to simply step onto, then he stepped onto a slightly higher one, then another, then another. It took a good balance to scale the boulders without falling, which he had. He could now see for miles. He sighed, nothing in sight, he would have to walk for miles to find something, and he couldn't smell anything. He would have to be back before night fall. Back to the den. so he had to get a move on.
Muscled legs would lead him back down the way he came. He began to walk, eyes looking for prey. Sniffing the air, to see if he could smell any either.
