The Hall of Ruins | South
Once, this was a great royal hall, built by humans in a long, long ago forgotten time, for a royal family. Weathered stone walls still stand, the building once standing a good four stories high. The roof has fallen in, and the top floor has been partly worn away by time and weather from above. Great windows let in light through an overgrown evergreen forest. The drive, once taken care of and graveled with fine white pebbles, visited by wealthy people in horse drawn carriages, now is a weed tangled mess, the center piece garden now a wild riot of color in the spring and summer, the fountain there overgrown, long since stopped running. The sprawling ruins are full of adventure and mystery, to wolves who have only ever heard of humans in stories passed down. Gardens long ago broken free of their intricate placements, rosebushes grown wild, lending their fragrance to the summer and spring air. There is much to explore, and even more to see.
The Dancefloor Of The Gods | West
This is a wide, flat plain, rippling with grasses lush and green during the summer and spring, bleak during the winter and autumn. Deer and Elk, and other prey animals, visit this flatland regularly during the lush seasons, making this a prime place to hunt for any predator. Not a single tree graces this plain. However, a river runs through from east to southwest. The water is clear, the sand soft and silty at the shore. However, At the high heat of summer, this river dries to a trickle, somehow managing to survive through the year.
Fenrir?s Maw | East
Set in the mountainous eastern lands of Alacritis, Fenrir?s Maw is a craggy, dangerous set of mountains, riddled with steep drop-offs, unstable trails, sinkholes, and peaked with snow, all year round, despite being south of the northern lands. Riddled with caves that span deep into the mountains, alcoves and chambers, making these mountains a good place for a pack that doesn?t mind the dangerous terrain. A wolf must be nimble on his or her paws, or find one?s death on the rocky earth below. The plant life is hardy, the trees being evergreens suited to the climate. There are many hard to find herbs that grow here, if a healer is brave and surefooted enough to seek them out.
The Adobi Cliffs | West
The Adobi Cliffs are a great plateau, riddled with holes at its base, hewn by native tribes of humans, far, far back into the past. Centered in a desert, these holes that span deep into the earth are a welcome shelter from hot desert days. Some are home to large populations of bats, and lizards that can be a good meal. Beware, though. Rattlesnakes make these ancient dwellings home as well.
