Syrinx was more of the silent type, and yet he spoke so quickly to the black serpent woman. A smirk tugged at his inky (and also missing) lips and he watched her carefully. He could never place trust in her--that would be far too dangerous; but perhaps he could grow fond of her mutually stone like personage and her evident ability to take the oddest of things and make them into something regarding hilarity. Tongue climbed across his lips and his bright gaze remained on her...lingering...for some time more. "Anything is possible," he cooed--careful as she approached him, and yet, he remained perfectly relaxed; treating her as though she were welcome to him, "Afraid not. He was faster than I...you see," a man of humility? No--but he was more than willing to climb along with the moment of jest they had going.

He didn't realize what was happening until she burned him.

Eos had been the last to touch him in any manner that was not particularly violent and he could feel the curl of anger rise in his chest. Though--it was not at her so much as it was at himself for allowing her such close proximity and to enjoy his feel. The fire king did not revel in the fact that he too was a man that could easily fall into his wanton desires...she, however, would feel the rebuttal of his refusal to accept his normalcy as his head turned towards her and jaws fell agape. Teeth attempted to wrap lightly around the scruff of her neck--and it would be the only thing he would attempt to do for he was frozen. She did not deserve his anger and he hungered for her to have it.
