Eeeeee. Totally will change anything you aren't fully supportive of, just let me know.

Name: Satu

Age: 2 years

Appearance:Satu is the smallest of her siblings at only 30 inches, with the same slender build as her sister but with the coltish ungainliness of an adolescent male rather than Cirala's feminine curves. Her face is thin, making her wide chocolate eyes seem almost too large for her head - this coupled with her gangly body almost make her look like she's stuck in puppyhood. Her fur starts a gray-flecked brown on her head and back, fading to a lighter buff color on her muzzle, down her throat and belly and legs. She has darker brown streaks under her eyes.

Personality:At heart, Satu has always been an adventurer. She longs to wander, to see new places, learn new things. To visit fare-away places and bring back the stories for her family. Alas, her strong sense of loyalty and strict obedience to duty has always denied her this because of her mother's overprotectiveness. Satu had never been able to bring herself to disobey, even when she felt most suffocated by the loving attention.

She tries to always see the best in those around her, often too willing to trust that others have good intentions. She knows there are bad wolves out there, bullies and killers and other horrible creatures, but she is more likely to look past that and believes everyone has some good inside them, if someone is willing to look hard enough. This doesn't mean that she thinks everyone is good - she just thinks that sometimes there might be bad things done with good intentions, and that maybe the ends might justify the means.

She envies her sister for what she sees as a natural grace and gentleness; Satu is generally sympathetic but doesn't always think how her actions will affect others before she does them. She's bright, enthusiastic and outgoing, but she often forces down her natural exuberance out of a sense of obligation, to put up a better, more responsible front. Her constantly frustrated adventuresomeness has caused her to develop a rich imagination - or visa versa - which shows through when she tells her stories to pups. She gets impatient and cross with pups, but she still often gets stuck with them because they tend to enjoy her colorful story-telling, and she holds down her irritation because it's expected of her.

Though she only had vague memories of her brother, Satu had been fascinated by the idea of a brother being raised so far away. She invented a fantasy version of him in her head, the epitome of a perfect brother. Big, strong, brave, loving, loyal, a brother who didn't mind her tagging along on his adventures. She couldn't quite picture what he looked like, not from her vague memories as a young pup, so she just pictured her cousin Howl, but a little bigger and prettier.

She always thought of Howl as a kind of surrogate-Iorwerth, always following him around with a mild case of hero-worship. When she was younger, she was probably pretty annoying. A little pup underpaw all the time would annoy a saint. As she got older though she always kept more of a distance out of respect for her cousin's privacy, but - especially after she met her brother again and was disappointed that he didn't live up to the perfect fantasy she'd built in her head - she focused more and more hero-worship on him. When he, his sisters, and HER sister all left the pack, Satu was devastated. She tried to do her duty, comfort her mother, be a good obedient daughter, but in a moment of weakness she strayed from the pack and managed to lose herself so thoroughly that she couldn't find her way back...

Roleplay Sample: Satu flicked her tail at a toad, startling it into jumping away into the grass. She sighed. Wouldn't it be great if she could run away so easily? Just hop off into the grass and follow Cirala and Howl and his sisters where ever it was they were going. Even Song had left, though Satu could hardly blame her considering. And here she was, stuck here taking care of her mother alone. It was even worse without Cirala. It was like Arelahn was taking all that pent up love and worry from her other two children being gone, and forcing it on Satu until she felt like choking. She couldn't even step out of sight without her mother worrying and calling for her. Satu understood that her mother was probably pretty sad and lonely now that her other two pups were gone, but she was drowning in all the attention.

She had finally been able to slip away while her mother was speaking with her aunt Novel and come out here, out of sight and sound and scent of the pack, just so she could finally be alone for a little while. If she had been stuck there one more minute she probably would have gone mad. She'd go back soon, of course, though Arelahn would have already noticed she was missing and she'd be smothered in even more maternal love and worry. The way she carried on sometimes it was like Satu had strayed off pack territory rather than just down the hill from everyone.

Satu paused. Why shouldn't she go off pack territory? If she was already out here, and she was already going to be treated like she had, why not actually get to have the adventure? And maybe she'd be able to prove that she wasn't a child, and that she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself. And maybe then she would be allowed to go even further.

The more she thought about it, the more the idea excited Satu. She'd go just outside the bounds of the pack's territory, then come right back. It wasn't like she was really leaving or anything. She just wanted to see.

The idea was exciting, but at the same time terrifying. Did she dare go against her mother's wishes, even for just a little while? It didn't take long though for the balance to tilt. She was going to do it.

The young female stood and trotted toward where she thought the nearest boundary was. At first she nearly shook with excitement and nerves, but once she got used to the idea, she practically flew through the undergrowth. Dodging around trees, ducking low limbs, skirting brambles. Right where she thought the boundary would be was a fallen pine tree, it's dead brushy limbs blocking her view. She could jump it though, she knew she could.

Satu gathered herself, then leaped.

But there was no ground on the other side to land on. She just kept falling, and Satu yowled at the sight of a wide, raging river rushing up to her. She went under with a yelp. She fought her way back to the surface. Choking and gasping, she tried to find a shore, but there were nothing but high overhanging banks.

The swift current swept her further and further downstream, away from everything she'd known. Away from all her responsibilities, away from duty. Into adventure. Very wet, uncomfortable, terrifying adventure.
Hati isn't nice. He swears, he is violent, and is more than a little insane. If you can't handle what might come of that don't thread with him.

Hati wears a bear skull on his head unless otherwise stated in the post. He also has a ram's skull that might be switched in sometimes if he finds it again.
