He missed the playful glare his daughter directed in his direction, but not the yelp of surprise as she fell over on herself and became a tangled heap of paws and tail and puppy. She would immediately straighten herself back up only to stop when he mentioned that they were going to hunt rabbits. Cherokee was unaware of the shocked expression taking a hold on her features, but he wasn't surprised to feel his daughter jumping and leaping over him, beyond excited that they were going to hunt rabbits because apparently she had just been dreaming about rabbits before he'd woken her. An amused grin would curl the knight's dark lips as he turned to look at Lakota. Yes baby girl, we're going to hunt rabbits. He chuckled, glad that she was so excited for her first hunting lesson, salmon tongue swiping across her nose as he continued to walk, nostrils scenting for rabbits in the nearby area. They were getting close. Their scent was faint.
