It's not even breakfast

Novocaine was not aware of the man, not until the ivory spectre was nearly upon him anyways. His reaction was almost instantaneous. While lesser pups might have pulled back in fear, Novocaine was visibly startled but instead of moving into a more submissive position his hackles raised and lips drew back to reveal tiny daggers. His ears laid flat against his head, all in a matter of seconds. The leaf he had been chasing only a moment before banished from his mind. The boy would not recognize his sire, the brute an abstract concept for him. There was no point of reference for him to compare; he knew not that he was supposed to have a father so did not miss him. To the pup his father simply didn?t exist. There was something about the brute that Novocaine didn?t like, his displeasure voiced in a weak growl. The boy would try to look his fiercest as the brute spoke, steel blue eyes narrowed. ?Out.? Was his stubborn answer, head lifting some. Surely he was old enough to leave the den on his own and he wasn?t sure why this strange male should care either way. The boy shifted his weight eager to be away from the man. |

Please note: Novocaine is missing his right eye entirely, an empty socket is all that remains in its stead. Not all of his tables reflect that as of yet!
