A tilt of his head would bring clear eyes to the fallen form of the orange creature. Staring at it's unmoving form, the males accented voice resonating in his ears. "A...different kind of sleep..." He stared, unblinking as he tried to process the concept. He didn't know what death was, but the thought of never waking again gave him a strange sense of fear mixed with a deep subconscious knowing. Would he ever sleep and never wake one day? The thought scared and awed him, how one could simply stop moving like that one day and just dream forever.
He was highly curious, a boy wanting to know all there was to learn about the world. To understand the understandable, the things that had no explanation. That's what he wanted, to be knowledgeable about the world. "At peace...so that means he'll dream forever?" he asked looking up at the large male. It didn't occur to him that the term "At peace" meant death. But he was sure he would learn in the future, perhaps when someone he loved lay as unmoving as this creature. He shook off the remaining snow that clung to his pelt, stepping back a pace or two so he could get a good view of his savior's dual colored eyes. His ears would lean back at the mention of his mother, and a trouble grin creased his features, knowing he might be in trouble. "Um, I dunno. I think she's with my brother Kyung, and I thought I would go for a walk or explore...not much goes on around here for us, so I just do what I can and try to stay out of trouble. I'm a good pup!" He exclaimed at the end, tail wagging meekly behind him.
He gave a smile to the male, giggling at the wink that was given to him. He wished he was bigger already. But that wouldn't happen for quite sometime. "Y'mean till I'm as big as you, mister?" He replied with a sort of adoration in his eyes. Although he had just met him, Rin felt a sort of connection towards the kind male. Unsure as to what it was, all that he knew was that he was nice, and kind, and he saved him. And that was all that mattered to the young boy.
