The young, beautiful femme padded silently across the sand, the moonlight reflecting off of her ebony pelt. Here on the ocean, the air was humid and warm, quite the change from the snow-coated North. Aphrodite walked slowly and seductively, her hips swaying from side to side, toned muscles rippling under lusciously silky fur. Lilac and silver eyes scanned the night sky, picking out constellations that her mother had shown her in what seemed like another lifetime. Aphrodite was on her own now, other than Persephone. Six months it had been since the twins had ran away from home. Most young girls would be terrified to be on their own, but Aphrodite loved it. She was free! The ebony mistress could do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. Not many wolves could claim that much freedom.

Aphrodite waded slowly into the tropical waters, stopping just before the water hit her knees. Due to the cooler temperature of the air, the ocean water felt almost like the water in the hot springs, though not as warm. Aphrodite closed her eyes, relishing the feel of the sand between her toes. The girl bounded into the water, sending splashes far to either side of her body. Aphrodite loosed a care-free laugh, her vocals sounding much older than she was.

After romping through the water for a few minutes, Aphrodite trotted out of the ocean, heading for the small river that ran through the center of the island. The girl took very much pride in her looks, and upholding her status of 'beauty queen' took quite the effort. Hence going to the river; Aphrodite wasn't about to let the salt from the ocean water crust over on her fur and make her look greasy. Oh HELL no, the girl thought. Aphrodite rinsed herself off in the river, then shook every droplet of water from her pelt. Returning to padding along the shore, the girls ebony fur dried in minutes.
