Beauty often went over the girls head, except when she was admiring carnage of her own work or the looks of a male. Sometimes things would catch her eye, but it was rare for her to take interest in just about anything that wasn't those things. Ain't nothin' here... Just a buncha stupid drowned trees... S'cool, but it gets old after a while... As she watched her sister bounce off the ice she took after her not more then half a second later, Aphrodite crashed into the snowbank before them, sending snow flying, it covered them both as she aimed to tackle her sister. Her aim was dead on, but Aphrodite moved a second to soon and she crashed head first into the bank. She stayed there for a second as she felt the cold seeping into her fur, onto her skin, it wasn't anything unbearable, just enough bite to remind her she was alive. She clenched her jaw and lept backwards roughly, she shook herself out after Aphrodite had already done so and she listed while she shook. The devil woman could go days without eating, it was what she did, but the appetite of her sister was always a constant concern for her, since she didn't get hungry often, she never knew the eating schedule of the other. Growing serious she nodded and lifted her darkened nose to the sky, taking in the scents around them. There were small things, their scents scattered about, mixing beneath their toes and above their heads. Winged beasts and furred slabs of flesh were hiding around them, and then there were the brutes. They were large and strong, dangerous and fast, hooves heavy as stone with kicks that could kill, the two of them had choices, many many choices, and Persephone would take anyone for the younger girl. Take your pick... We got a buffet goin' here... The devil giggled as she turned a maniacal glace at Aphrodite, that look that sprung up when she was feeling that feeling, the one where anything was possible. The look that could kill. |
