The same site that belonged to the birthplace of Maija and Aoi's awkward... friendship? The word seemed too awkward to describe their relationship, nor could he say he really cared at this point. Wandering was all He'd known since arriving in this land, though to his pleasure arriving on the site he started on meant he'd come full circle, and now had almost the entirety of the land mentally mapped as thoroughly as his memory would allow. What now, though? he'd done what he came here to do, would he settle into a pack? or merely find a secluded spot to live out his life in solitude? The thoughts whirled around his mind like a maelstrom of nonsense, unable to make heads or tails of the uncertainty he was presented with. Aoi shook his head roughly in an attempt to refocus. Not but a few seconds later, the distractions of his mental war caused him to nearly trip over something on the ground. It took a few moments for the male to realize what he'd almost fallen over was another wolf, once noted, he remained frozen staring down with his icy gaze at the figure with a look of slight surprise. Normally, He'd be considerably more composed, but lately he'd been too lost in thought to keep up such a facade, so to hell with it, he figured. The only thought that crossed his mind right now, is how badly of an injury he might sustain from disturbing this other person. Hopefully they weren't too short tempered, otherwise he'd start making plans of escape. In an attempt to diffuse the situation Aoi's clumsiness created, he fixed his face such that the look of surprise was replaced with a slight smile, and a much calmer stare. "My apologies, I hope I didn't disturb you." He chimed softly, his tone somewhat soft, not sure what he was going for, just anything that didn't show hostility he supposed. A wider smile forced its way across Aoi's maw as he remembered trying the same approach with a few others, that ended in interesting responses.
