He would accompany his Re, his beloved king and brother back to the mainland. Taurig was intent on returning to ensure that nobody had been left behind, and though he had insisted that the others stay it was Tidus who managed to get the stubbornly kind male to give in. Tidus would not have allowed him to come back alone, not because of Taurig's blindness no, but because he wanted to make sure that he wouldn't get ambushed by the dirty northern pack's lowlife warriors. They were never to be trusted, and it was the northern pack themselves who brought those thoughts to all who knew about them. They brought it upon themselves, and Tidus would not put it past them to do something moronic and downright dirty.

It was then he heard the cry of the northern pink male. Ha...pink...such a demanning color. He must be downright ashamed of himself being such a sight for sore eyes. It's no wonder his pride is wounded so easily, damn bastard can hardly stand to look at himself. He trudged alongside his Re, his comrades Hansel and the strange pirate Jack with them, the trio making a tight circle around their Re. But it wasn't just for the fact he was their king, Taurig was like family, like their brother. And family always looked out for each other no matter what. And when someone tried to mess with one of their own, then they had the entire pack to deal with. That was the way of a real loyal family. Mismatched black paws stopped at the same moment as Taur, his good oceanic blue eye staring down at the pink toed pony standing before them. Taurig saying his piece, wanting nothing more to do with the bastards dramatized pride. With a smirk, Tidus would fall in step once more with the cobalt Re, saying nothing to the northern king. Then again, he had no breath to waste on him.
