Between one step and the next, a voice startled Satu. She jumped, brown fur fluffing out in momentary alarm, and whipped her head around to face the speaker. It was a larger, white male she didn't recognize. To Satu's chagrin, she hadn't heard the wolf approaching at all. He didn't appear to be threatening at all, so Satu relaxed a bit and gave him a friendly smile. "I'm Satu", she spoke. "And you are?"
She hoped the other wolf didn't consider this his territory - there hadn't been any scent markers or anything, but rogues could be unpredictable. Still, he didn't seem to be really unfriendly, so there was no reason for her to be, either. She kept her tail and ears held at a confident angle, head cocked to the side as she awaited his reply.
