Satu dipped her head in acknowledgement of the other wolf's greeting. "It's nice to meet you too, Angel", she returned politely. "I'm not in a pack. I mean, I was, far away from here, but I left and came here, so I guess... uhm... I'm not," she finished somewhat lamely. "It's a long story." And one she probably shouldn't spill out to a random stranger, actually. But luckily the stranger, Angel, had spoken more.
"Don't worry about it. I shouldn't have been startled at all," she said dismissively about her surprise. "It's not your fault I wasn't paying attention. It's just so beautiful out here that I got a little caught up in it." She made a gesture with her tail that encompassed the lake she'd been exploring. "So how about you, Angel? What are you doing way out here?"
