a weak smile, riddled with concern and worry, plagued the man's face as he protectively lay beside her shaking body. did he put an arm over her? lean against her? he wanted so badly to press his body against hers, not from any adulterous thought which usually poisoned his vile mind but as an attempt to calm her with a warm, comforting touch. his thoughts surrounding this woman woefully befuddled him. never before had he felt so much concern and worry for anyone's well-being except his own. not even for his kin lover, simply because he was more than capable of handling himself. but this woman.. she looked so fragile, so broken. she would speak with those embered eyes of hers disquisitively watching him, a sense of security washed over him and he would coo once more. no, of course not. he would gaze at her for a moment, searching the depths of her flaming pools before cautiously but with a hint of sternness, there is not a single thing you could do that would anger me. not ever.
