The air was thick with the tension of the approaching storm, the healer was worried, clearly it was going to get bad. Not just in her pack, but with all of the land, the air even worried. She had gone into over-time collecting herbs, staying out late, barely taking time to sleep, and then when the first break of the storm hit, tragedy struck. Vereux's eye had been injured by flying debris, and try as she did there was no saving it. He would forever be blind in that eye. The loss of the pup's eye disgusted her, but she wasn't a fool enough to let it get her down. She had work to do, thirty plus wolves to care for. She was busy.

When the cry of the king rang through the land, she let out a sigh from the herbs she had gathered, grabbing the bundle in her jaws and turning, hoping that where-ever her daughter was, she had also heard the call of the king and was already at the meeting. She moved through the forest as quickly as possible, the bundle of herbs in her jaws slowing her down, as she tried her best not to damage them. When she would arrive at the gathering of wolves, she would enter the clearing, her eyes glancing at each wolf as she passed them, checking them quickly for injury from the last nights storm.

The pack's ranks had swelled, there were several members she hadn't met, but as moved between them, working her way front, pausing to gently brush her nose against her daughters fur. She'd let Irune wander through the meeting, sitting by whomever she chose. As for herself, she would sit before the king, sitting down her herbs, her eyes passing over the newest additions to the pack. The children of the king were growing quickly, and she smiled slightly at both of them, before greeting the royal pair. "Isardis, Sendoa. I trust you are well?"
