As his love talked about food and rest he was suddenly aware of the fatigue that he had forgotten in her presence. Food and rest, yes that sounds good he muttered as Aurora dug in. He lowered his head to the fawn. He began to eat. The coppery taste filling his mouth. It tasted brilliant, even better because he had been starving. When he was done he looked to her. Crimson liquid stained his maw. He looked to his wife, That was lovely, thank you. Now to rest He smiled and trotted back into the den. He lay down. Almost instantly he was asleep. Deep breaths sounding out through the den.
