His heart broke to pieces at her story, a tale far worse than his. The smile fell from his face, pain reflecting in his eyes as he heard her tale. How many females carried that burden from his doing? How many had been scarred as she had been from his actions? He no longer sought trivial pleasures of the flesh. No. This was an opportunity. A chance to repent for his sins.
