Things had been slow since his arrival, at least on his end of this dark little world. This place was full of strange wolves, all full of drive and life, but tainted with a darkness far more uncontrolled then his own, the king he hadn't met yet, but he knew he would have to sooner or later, he just didn't think it would be on terms un-other then his own, a silly thought no? Harrison was sleeping soundly buried in the depth of Dexter's fur, the red ball a stain of blood on the black strip that coursed down his spine. The razorback bristled against the pressure that was rising, he could feel it, he knew the red panda could, and he knew everything else could as well, the heavy hand of the weather was pushing on them all, but what it was gathering to be he didn't know. A sound ripped through his consciousness that could only have come from the King himself and he sighed, really? Now? How unfortunate. At this moment the speckled beast had been staring at a rabbit, not fat, but not starving either. Today was one of those days he needed to eat, it wasn't often that he felt this urge, but it was with a roaring belly that he couldn't disagree, and when the cry ripped through the lands of Glaciem he rose, no point in bothering with surprise anymore, disappointed Deter stared at the startled creature before him. Fear was strong as the creature debated on how many ways she could be eaten, today was her lucky day, the king she should fear had just saved her life. Their eyes locked for seconds as neither moved, The silence was broken by the blue eyed beast as he woofed a irritated Boo... At her and she skittered away without hesitation. He turned his large head at the panda who stirred with unease at the sound that floated overhead, re-positioning himself to face the rump of the beast, eyes in the front, eyes in the back. Another sigh, it was time to face the masses. He turned about face and made an easy trot off the to meeting, whatever it was, he hoped it was important, he was fucking hungry. The constant pushing from the sky was rather annoying, making the fur bristle, giving his darkness an extra edge to it that was difficult to ignore. Doing the best he could to ignore it he pushed on and wondered who would be at this meeting, he knew only few of these wolves here in this pack, and soon he would need to push himself to 'make friends', he hated connections, they were necessary, but rather burdensome. He knew none other then Sin as he entered, wolves swarmed the gathering and he secretly grimaced at the stench of all around him. He nodded that the male who seemed nearly as displeased as he was to be here, and he noticed that the one who welcomed him here was absent, and so was the other one. This rose an alarm in his brain, but he stuffed it down as he kept his cool. He walked to the King and queen, the monster's tail limp behind him and a heavy nod at them both as he gave them both a warm you royal peoples My king, My queen... with a smile faked, though genuine and convincing for the time being, before he took a step back and sat on the inner outskirts of the group. he heard a mention of Lavender and calming properties, noting this as well he tucked it away with a hidden smile, another femme had approached as he was entering, and was disgusted by her obvious attempt at flattery with the king, shaking his head at the stupidity of some. Harrison was uneasy, surrounded by strangers who could eat him in less then four gulps, constantly shifting and trying to make himself smaller and smaller. Hopefully this would be over soon, he wanted something to eat... |
