"Oh, dear brother, you are absolutely right,"

Baldur's right eye twitched at the voice that slid into the gathering of wolves like oil over water. He didn't even have to turn to look to know that it was Loki and while Baldur would've happily told Loki to craw back into whatever slimy hole he stumbled out of, especially while Weth was occupied, for the moment Loki seemed to be taking his side. Though it was always so hard to tell when little prince sarcasm was in full swing. That said though Baldur could not remember Loki having all that much love for Hati either so as much as they despised each other at least they could share that sentiment.

Baldur chuckled at Loki's reaction to the festering wound. Baldur had avoided poking the injuries and so avoided the pus but Loki, ever in his desire to do harm, went right for the injuries and got the germs.

Judging by the size of the wounds, I would guess... a rabbit. Maybe a fox. Truly mighty."

Baldur burst out laughing. He just couldn't help himself. While he despised his darker older brother he did have to admit that the other had one hell of a sense of humor. Particularly when it wasn't directed right back at Baldur. Being the "white" sheep of the family so-to-speak he was frequently the target of bullying from his other siblings. The name did not help. Being a white wolf with a name that could easily be twisted to suggest a lack of hair was an easy target.

"I'd be careful Loki, we could be in the midsts of a particularly large and ferocious rabbit? the Rabbit of Caerbannog!!!"
He let out a playful snarl, paws slapping into the ash.

"Fancy meeting the two of you way out here," he murmured. "Did you grow tired of dear uncle Vili's hospitality, then? Or did he finally get around to throwing you out of the pack, hm?"

Baldur for the most part ignored this comment. His reasons for leaving were his own and he certainly wasn't going to share them with someone like Loki. And even if he wanted to he'd never have gotten the chance for it seemed the Rabbit of Caerbannog had made a beeline right for the green-eyed trickster. Akemi? dear, dear Akemi. Thor moved to intervene and then Weth was in the fray.

Baldur just sat back grinning.

Then he heard a snarl, a rather soft and pathetic snarl but there was no doubt in his mind where it was coming from. Ice-bitten eyes turned right to Hati. Uh oh?

"Hey, guys??" Baldur didn't get to finish the thought as Hati barked out the order for them to knock it off. Well, the bear was awake and if he wasn't injured Baldur would have turned for the hills.

Suddenly a violent sneeze erupted from Baldur's maw followed quickly by a sucession of smaller sneezes. Eff this weather, just eff it. He was sick of standing out here in the ash and while he wanted to leave Hati out here to suffer it also meant leaving Akemi. He also doubted Thor would just leave Hati there anyway. "UGH! Ok Hati's awake, can we just grab him so we can get the hel out of this?" Baldur made no move to help and instead turned around to head back toward one of the sturdier entrances.
