The swim from his chosen location upon the mainland beach of the South was an easy one. The dawning of the sun made the waters calm, making it easier for him to swim. It did not take him very long to reach the other side, the chaos he witnessed startled him. He did not realize how much damage the passing storm had done, for the male had been hidden deep within his cave home. He shook out his wet fur, his coat sticking out in all directions in spikes as he slowly walked along the beach. Was this where Valhalla had moved? Or was it a different island...? He was lost, both in direction and in mind. He wasn't sure why exactly he came here, but Valhalla he had promised himself to remain close to Liberty's home pack...Liberty...would she ever come back? Did Valhalla even miss her or care? He huffed, pushing her to the back of his mind. She left, claimed, but it seemed she never bothered to make an effort to return. Why should he still care? He put himself in her presence, offered his loyalty and company so she wouldn't be alone, she had asked him to stay by her side...and she left him. His heart ached, but he could do nothing but to try and forget. So he wandered along the beach, aqua gaze glancing at the tree line, wondering if there was anything in there.. Walk ---- "Speak" ---- "Hear" ---- Think |
