Alpha Activity

<div class="thead">Alpha Requirements</div>

<ol><li>An Alpha must post at least <b>five times</b> in a seven day week. None of these posts can be in a thread solely with their own characters, but must instead be interacting with other player's characters for the whole of the thread for the posts to count.</li>

<li>Players of Alphas are expected to remain active or risk losing their pack. All alpha activity must be edited into the alpha activity thread by <b>11:59 pm Ardent time (PST) on Monday</b> or will not be counted.</li>

<li> Activity checks will be done on Tuesdays. The new week's posts must be done after the time stamp on the previous alpha check unless the check has not been completed by noon on Tuesday. In the event that it has not been completed by noon Ardent time on Tuesday, all posts from Tuesday on will be counted.</li>

<li>Alphas are required to keep five followers (not including the alpha, pups under the age of 1, slaves/prisoners, or any characters played by the alpha's player) in their pack at all times to meet minimum standards. This checked at the same time as the alpha activity check and packs failing to meet minimum risk losing their pack.</li>

<li>An excused absence does not result in an automatic pass for the week - the previous week's status will be applied for the week of the absence, and the check will resume from there the next week. In the case of an alpha partnership, the excused absence of one alpha (one week only) will drop the requirements to those of a single alpha.</li></ol>
Note: Alphas that choose to willingly dissolve their pack can do so. But following the dissolution, any wolf may step up and claim the pack so long as they meet the requirements. If no one steps up within 1 OOC week (7 days), then the pack with removed the pack list and added to the “Pack Creation” List.

<div class=tcat>Absences</div>

<ol><li>Alphas may be excused from posting for <b>one week only</b> as long as an absence is posted by Wednesday of that week. The alpha check should be edited to state the alpha is on absence and provide a link to the absence post. Posting at any time during the absence will result in it being voided completely, and the alpha will be responsible for completing their posts before the alpha check.</li>

<div class=tcat>Pack Challenge Judging</div>

<ol><li>When an alpha's pack is challenged for, alpha check will continue as usual until the fight is put in judging. <b>At that point, their activity checks will be paused until the official judging is posted.</b></b></li></ol>

<ol><li>Alphas must post <b>5 times per week</b>, or in the case of an alpha partnership, <b>10 times a week</b> combined. These posts must be in by <b>11:59 PM Ardent Time (PST).</b></li>

<li>Alphas must also make note of something else pack-related they've done. These things can include: updating your pack roster, updating your pack information, archiving threads on your board, etc.</li>

<li>When listing the completed posts made, <b>please link to the individual posts, not the thread</b>. This can be found by clicking on the number on the top right of the post, or right click + copying the link.</li>

<li>If an alpha or alpha pair does this successfully, their status indicator will remain green <img src="/images/AlphaPass.png">. In the event that they miss a week, their indicator will be changed to yellow <img src="/images/AlphaWarning.png">. They then have one week to return to green status or they will fall to red <img src="/images/AlphaFail.png"> and the pack will be handed down to the <b>heir</b> or another rank as specified in the pack page. If none are present, the pack will be disbanded and the land will be immediately made available for claim. Checks will be done every <b>Tuesday morning</b> but all alpha activity must be edited into the alpha activity thread by <b> 11:59 pm Ardent time on Mondays</b> or will not be counted. If the check is delayed until <b>after noon on Tuesday</b>, all posts done from Tuesday on will be counted.</li></ol>
