The dual colored brood would only remain long enough to hear what the king had to say. After she had arrived the pack came alive with conversations as a few others showed their faces. She herself remained silent as she did not trust herself to even be remotely respectful of Argent and the new queen.

Isardis' voice rang out over everyone, silencing everyone...even the thoughts that ran through Pepper's mind. He gave each member of the pack a task even if he hadn't called them out by name, their rank had been. So she was to become a hunter. That was fine by her, as she already did that when she was bored. The only difference now, it was mandatory and Lova would be in charge of her.

Immediately she had the mind set to do so well that the king would raise her rank, so that Lova could no longer give her orders. The moment Isardis asked if they understood, she tilted her head forward as her response before standing to take her leave.
