There's a slayer in the dark

It was getting dark, and she had yet to find a den. This brought sudden alarm to her, with all her senses now alert to the dimming light and nearly oh so quiet forest she had stumbled into. The dog was upset, her ears pulled forward. Sure she was brave, but one thing she was afraid of was being alone, not the dark, but being alone. Her neon pink eyes searched the confines of the branches for some sort of shelter but there was none. The small canine whined slightly as the darkness took over. Her ears pulled back and she sat where she was tearing up. Kyu froze up, her tail flicking against the floor. She didn't want to be alone, it was horrible. She couldn't remember most of her past, and these lands seemed to be infested with wolves. Where else was there to go. She loved wolves but when she got alone during night hours she wanted to cower and hide. Her goal had been to find a friend, but here she was the kai ken all alone and sobbing in the darkness.
